MADE IN BED proudly introduces our newest Features Co-Editor, Celeste Melgar!

Celeste Melgar is a Panamanian painter and poet currently completing her Masters of Art Business in Sotheby’s Art Institute. She has a BFA in Painting with Minors in Art History and Business.

In the year 2020 she not only discovered a new route of research and development as an artist, but she developed skills as a curator. She completed multiple certifications on curatorial practices and curated her first solo show in her home country. Since then she has been part of multiple group shows, worked on international commissions. In November of 2022 she published her book Algo Natural which has been featured in multiple articles and deals with concepts of the human emotions intertwined with the small details of nature. In 2022 till mid 2023 Celeste Melgar also worked as an Art Consultant in Tampa, Florida for Wendover Art Group and during the weekends wrote articles for the Savannah Now Newspaper and was a small business mentor for SCORE. Currently she is writing her second book and writing as the Features Co-Editor for Made in Bed.
