MADE IN BED proudly introduces our newest Interviews Co-Editor, Angel Song!

Born in Beijing, China and grew up in Vancouver, Canada. Angel Song is a lens-based artist and curator based currently in London. Holding a degree in BA (Hons) Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Arts, London, Angel is currently pursuing an MA in Contemporary Arts at Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Her practice mainly focuses and revolves around analog photography mediums and archival works. The focuses of her writing has been on current art exhibition reviews, artists, and the photo medium.

As a working artist photographer, Angel has a strong passion and extensive knowledge to the current contemporary art and mainly photography world. Her work mainly revolves around the ideas of identity as a female and third culture kids coming from an international background. Looking through the lens of photography and personal archives to create new narratives, Angel is constantly researching and reading photo theory and relevant artists. Beyond the creative sphere, Angel remains committed to staying well-informed about the latest developments in the contemporary photography landscape. Actively engaged in ongoing research and dedicated reading of photo theory, Angel's passion extends to both magazine and academic writing, underscoring a genuine enthusiasm for contemporary arts and photography theory.
