Fun Fact: Once, while swimming with dolphins at a dolphin rescue when I was about seven years old, a female dolphin tried to take me further into the enclosure to be her new child. She had lost her own baby a year before and saw me as someone she could adopt. It was cool at the time because she was swimming right next to me, but afterwards the caretakers told us that if they hadn't gotten me out of the water then, they could not have done anything to get me out. So I guess in short, the fun fact is that once a dolphin tried to kidnap me...

MADE IN BED proudly introduces our newest En Plein Air Co-Editor, Stella Koslowski!
Stella Koslowski is an artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Santa Cruz, California. She focuses on watercolor, oil painting and textiles. Having majored in both Fine Art and Illustration at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Stella enjoys blending her styles and materials together to create bizarre stories from dreams.
She also minored in Art History and Humanities at MIAD and is currently attending Sotheby's Institute of Art for their Fine and Decorative Art and Design program.
Stella completed three internships during her senior year at MIAD. One as a Collections and Curatorial Intern at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts, one as a Gallery Intern at Hawthorn Contemporary, and one as a Museum Intern at the Haggerty Museum of Art. She has more recently worked for Cockpit Studios in London as an exhibition and registrar intern.
