MADE IN BED proudly introduces our newest Editor in Chief, Mairi Alice Dun!
Before coming to Sotheby’s Institute of Art for her Masters in Art Business, Mairi Alice Dun worked at the Tate Modern and Tate Britain as a Visitor Engagement Assistant, giving various talks on their permanent collections (notably the works of Nancy Spero and Mari Katayama), and assisting in the curation of their staff exhibition. In 2022, she graduated with a first in History of Art and English from the University of St Andrews. During her time there, she was elected as Editor of the Arts and Culture section of the student-led newspaper, The Saint for her final two semesters, after acting as deputy for the previous two years, she was glad to take on the challenge of publication. She hopes to continue to expand and develop her writing and publishing skills during her reign at MADE IN BED.
She adores art, traveling, storytelling, and all of their intersections. On any given day you can find her gallery hopping, lamenting not speaking more languages, reading a mystery novel, or playing cards at the pub.
