MADE IN BED proudly introduces our newest Art Markets Co-Editor, Edwina Keary!
I was born and grew up in Sydney before moving to Switzerland, and then the UK. I discovered a love of art and architecture after a trip to Versailles. Over the years this interest extended into the intersection between art, history, and politics. I also grew up loving to paint and draw.
I am currently completing a masters in Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute of Art and have a BA in Art History from The University of Bristol. My dissertation focused on the intersection between art, geography and politics in regard to Diego Rivera’s Man, Controller of the Universe. Through this research I discovered a love of Mexican revolutionary art. Following my graduation, I interned at an art dealer in Bath which led to an interest in the business side of the art world.
Beyond university, I spent a few months in Montpellier studying French and travelling around the South of France. I spent a lot of time at art museums and cathedrals, further reaffirming a love of architecture and art.
